Venue verification — what we check

Verification is us confirming a real business runs a real space at that address.

How to verify

Open Manage venue → Offers. The publishing-readiness panel shows the exact step that is blocking publication. If a Google Business Profile is connected, choose Verify with Google and sign in with the Google account that manages the listing. If you are editing an offer, Liventix saves its draft before opening Google and returns you to that saved offer after the check. If the save cannot complete, the editor stays open so you can retry.

A complete offer can use Save and verify to publish. This approves only the saved version to publish after verification, within the displayed publishing window. The window ends no later than the offer's claim deadline. An edit, cancellation, expired window, or changed publishing requirement stops automatic publication and keeps the draft available. Verify with Google by itself does not approve a draft for publication.

If the venue has no connected Google listing, or Google verification cannot be completed, choose Request manual review. Liventix records the request and shows its status in the Offers workspace; merely adding a venue does not silently place it in that review queue.

Manual review saves the draft without automatically publishing it. If the editor offers an automatic-publishing option, it starts unchecked and shows the cutoff before you submit. You can cancel automatic publishing from Offers. Verification can still succeed if an offer cannot publish; the workspace names the offer's remaining requirement.

What it unlocks

An unverified venue is link-reachable: your page works, you can share it, and you can host your own events there.

A verified venue is discoverable and bookable: it appears in venue search, gets recommended to organizers looking for a space, is submitted to Google — and outside organizers can send you booking requests.

Verification gates both discovery and bookings for the same reason: we won't point strangers at a business nobody has looked at, and we won't let strangers commit dates with one either.

What we check

• The business exists and operates at the address given
• Whoever submitted the listing is connected to it
• The photos are of the space, and the description matches what's there

How long

Google verification can complete during the same visit when the account manages the matching listing. Manual review depends on the review queue. Repeating an open review request does not create another request or speed up approval.

What helps

• Photos that are clearly the space in the listing, not stock or press shots
• A business email on the same domain as your website, if you have one
• A complete profile — half-filled listings get held for follow-up questions
