RSVP to a free event

Free events use RSVPs instead of paid tickets. There's nothing to pay — confirming your spot issues a free ticket with its own QR code for the door.

RSVP-ing

1. Open the event and tap RSVP.
2. Choose how many spots you're taking, if you're bringing people.
3. If the host asked any questions, answer them.
4. Confirm.

Your RSVP appears on the host's guest list straight away, and your ticket lands in Tickets.

On some gatherings you'll also see Maybe and Can't go options — those are a signed-in answer you can set without taking a ticket, so the host can still read the room.

Bringing people

The number of spots you take counts toward the event's capacity, so keep it honest — a host planning food and space is working from your answer. Each event caps how many spots one person can take.

Changing your mind

Open the event and change your answer any time while RSVPs are open — they usually close around the event's start time. Cancelling frees your spot, which matters when an event is at capacity.

Questions the host asks

Some hosts ask a question or two when you RSVP — dietary needs, skill level, which session you want. Your answers are stored with your RSVP and are never shown to other guests.

What the host can see

The host sees your name, your profile photo, and when you RSVP'd. Their event console also shows the contact email on your booking — that's how confirmations and event updates reach you — and a phone number if you've saved one to your profile. Hosts don't see your payment method, your other events, or anything you've saved.
