Join the waitlist for a full event

When an event sells out completely, you can take a numbered place in line.

When an event sells out completely, the checkout offers a waitlist instead of a purchase.

Joining

  1. Open the event. If every ticket type is sold out, the checkout shows Join the waitlist in place of the ticket picker.
  2. Enter your name and email.
  3. If you're holding out for a specific tier — VIP, say — pick it; otherwise leave it on any.

You'll see your position in line straight away.

What happens next

The host sees the waitlist — names, in order — and works from it when space opens up: someone cancels, held tickets get released, or capacity goes up. Keep an eye on your inbox and on the event page; if spots reopen, the event is buyable again.

Things worth knowing

  • Joining a waitlist is free and doesn't touch your payment method.
  • Your place is held against the tier you picked — waiting on VIP doesn't put you in line for General Admission.
  • There's no way to buy your way up the list.
