What to expect at check-in

How the door works, what to have ready, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Check-in is a QR scan. It takes a couple of seconds per person.

Have ready

  • Your ticket QR — in the app, in your wallet, or as a screenshot
  • Screen brightness up
  • ID, if the event is age-restricted

How it goes

Someone on the door scans your code. It turns green, and you're in. If you bought several tickets in one order, each has its own code — the door scans each person individually, so send everyone their own or scan them in together at the same time.

If the scan fails

Usually it's brightness or a cracked screen. Turn the brightness up and try again.

If the code itself is damaged — a corrupted screenshot, a mangled printout — open the ticket fresh from Tickets on any phone and let the door scan that instead. The # code shown on your ticket is a reference label for talking to support, not something the door can type in.

If your phone is dead, open your order confirmation email from any other phone — it's the reliable way back to your ticket. Signing in with your checkout email also works for tickets attached to your account, though an older guest purchase may need a note to support first.

Re-entry

Whether you can leave and come back is up to the event. If re-entry is allowed, the door usually gives you a wristband or a stamp — your QR is spent once it's been scanned.
