Block people
What blocking does, what it does not do, and how to undo it.
Blocking someone
Find one of their posts, open the ⋯ menu on it, and choose Block User.
What blocking does
- Their posts stop appearing in your home feed
- They can't message you
- Any follow in either direction is removed
What blocking doesn't do
- It doesn't hide profiles. Profiles on Liventix are public — blocking stops the contact, not the existence.
- It doesn't cover every surface. Posts on an event's own page can still be visible to both of you — if you're both going to the same public event, you'll both still see the event page.
- It doesn't notify them. There's no "you have been blocked" message.
- It isn't a report. If someone is breaking the rules, block them and email support@liventix.tech — blocking protects you; reporting is what gets it dealt with.
Unblocking
There's no self-serve unblock screen yet. If you've blocked someone and want to undo it, email support@liventix.tech from your account email and we'll clear it. Unblocking doesn't restore the follows that were removed — you'd both need to follow again.
